トスカーヌは、パリ出身の若手フランス人アーティストです。幼い頃から彼女は絵を描き始め、祖母とともにフランスの有名な美術館を巡りました。
トスカーヌは、ピエール・ソウラージュ、マティス、横山大観や葛飾北斎の作品に魅了されました。彼女は、これらの巨匠から大胆な構図や色彩を学び、アクリル絵具で表現する技法を学びました。
トスカーヌは、抽象表現主義とリアリズムを融合した独自のスタイルで早くも評価され、パリ、アムステルダム、ブリュッセルなどのヨーロッパの主要都市で作品を展示しています。
2022年からは、自分が尊敬する巨匠たちが愛した日本の風景を求めて日本に移住しました。この展覧会で展示する作品には、彼女が来日して学んだ技法や文化が反映されています。

Toscane is a young French artist born in Paris. She started to paint at an early age and visited the great museums of France with her grandmother.

Toscane is fascinated by the works of Soulages, Matisse, Yokoyama, as well as the woodblock prints of Hokusai. Inspired by these Masters, she trains in the art of contrast and learns to convey meaning with strong compositions and bold colors. Toscane stands out for her mastery of acrylic and is rapidly recognized for her eclectic style mixing abstract expressionism and realism. Her works have been exhibited in European capitals like Paris, Amsterdam and Brussels.

In 2022, Toscane moved to Japan in search of the landscapes which inspired the great masters that she admires. The artworks displayed in this exhibition form the culmination of a study of Japanese culture and artistic techniques.
